Lieutenant-Commander Leycester Curzon Maude Roxby, R.N. (22 November, 1883 – 12 August, 1918) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Roxby was the son of Captain Herbert Roxby. He was born in Portsmouth.
Roxby was instructed in submarines, but never received appointments in such craft.
Roxby was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 March, 1904. Roxby was considered to blame for an accident (possibly in January 1906) when loading a lighter in St. [illeg].
Roxby was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 March, 1912.
Roxby served in Coast Guard appointments.
Roxby was placed on the Retired List as physically unfit, owing to pulmonary condition, on 21 July 1916.
