Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Joseph Wilkinson, R.N. (8 July, 1874 – 1 May, 1945) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Wilkinson was granted the acting rank of Boatswain on 26 June, 1902 and confirmed in the rank 30 June, 1903.
Wilkinson was promoted to the rank of Chief Boatswain on 26 June, 1917.
Wilkinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 12 August, 1922.
Wilkinson was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 12 August, 1930.
Wilkinson was appointed in command of the first-class torpedo boat T.B. 049 on 4 March, 1912.[1]
