Admiral SIR John Reginald Thomas Fullerton, G.C.V.O., C.B., Royal Navy, Retired (10 August, 1840 – 29 June, 1918) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
In accordance with the provisions of the Order in Council of 5 February, 1872, Fullerton was promoted to the rank of Commander with seniority of 6 February of that year.[1]
He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 10 January, 1878, from the Royal Yacht Victoria and Albert II.[2]
Fullerton was appointed in command of the Royal Yacht Victoria and Albert II on 15 October, 1884.[3]
He was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 1 January, 1893.[4] He was appointed an Honorary Naval Aide-de-Camp to the Queen dated 1 January.[5]
On the occasion of the Queen's visit to Cherbourg he was appointed a Knight Commander in the Royal Victorian Order (K.C.V.O.) on 9 May, 1899.[6] He was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral on 13 July, vice Church.[7]
He was promoted to Knight Grand Cross in the Royal Victorian Order (G.C.V.O.) on 1 February, 1901.[8] On 25 February he was appointed an Honorary Naval Aide-de-Camp to King Edward VII.[9] He was advanced to the rank of Admiral on the Retired List on 15 March, 1904.[10]
