Gunner John McCarthy, R.N. ( – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

McCarthy was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 17 October, 1883.

A Court Martial on 2 September 1889 resulted in a severe reprimand and a loss of twelve months' seniority.

McCarthy was pensioned on 27 June, 1907.
