Captain (retired) Henry Strickland, O.B.E., R.N. (6 October, 1873 – 2 September, 1934) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Sir C. W. Strickland, Bart..

Strickland was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 6 October, 1894.

Strickland was promoted to the rank of Commander on 6 October, 1913.

Strickland was placed on the Retired List as unfit, with Mediterranean Fever, on 14 September, 1906.

Strickland was reverted to the Retired List on 30 August, 1919 and promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) in recognition of war service, dated 11 November, 1918.
