Service
Construction was overseen by Robert Henry Taunton Raikes, who was appointed to the vessel on 11 December, 1922[1].
She paid off on 23 January, 1924, which seems odd, as she had not yet been commissioned.[2]
On 29 January, 1925, Philip Esmonde Phillips was appointed, to assume command when the vessel finally commissioned in December, 1925.[3]
