H.M.S. Wanderer was one of two Dolphin Class composite screw sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Commissioned at Sheerness on 1 May, 1884.{NLSep85|p. 247}}

Re-commissioned at Hong Kong on 18 February, 1888.[4]
