Valiant had a pool table, a photo of which is in the Crawford Scrapbook, Liddle Collection, University of Leeds.

Alterations

Valiant was completed with director firing installed, as all capital ships were supposed to do after 2 January, 1915.[2] Her secondary battery directors were installed in April, 1917.[3]

In December, 1914, Open Director Sights were ordered for all[Inference] her turrets. They were likely in place by her completion.[4]
