H.M.S. Pallas was one of nine cruisers of the Pearl class completed for the Royal Navy in 1891 and 1892.

Construction

Pallas was laid down on 1 July 1889 and was floated out of Dock 4 at Portsmouth on 30 June, 1890, being christened by Miss Guendolen Gorst, daughter of Sir John Gorst, M.P..
