H.M.S. Bluebell was one of twenty-four Acacia Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Her first captain, Lieutenant in Command Martin A. F. Hood, was cautioned by Vice-Admiral, Commanding, Queenstown, to be more careful in future after grounding the vessel on 10 December, 1915.[6]

Bluebell was re-commissioned on 27 December, 1921.[7]

She was re-commissioned at Hong Kong on 9 April, 1924.[8]

Bluebell was re-commissioned on 1 November, 1926.[9]
