Admiral Franz Ritter von Hipper (13 September, 1863 – 25 May, 1932) was an officer of the Kaiserliche Marine in the First World War, and commanded the scouting group during the Battle of Jutland.

Early Life & Career

Hipper was promoted to the rank of Admiral on 11 August, 1918.[1]
