Lieutenant-Commander (retired) Frank Edward Mervyn Roe, R.N. (12 January, 1876 – 7 June, 1916) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Roe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1897.
A Court Martial on 18 June, 1907 for drinking intoxicating liquor to excess cost him a year's seniority and dismissed him his ship, H.M.S. Hyacinth. On 24 July, he was placed on the Retired List for misconduct.
Roe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 31 December, 1906.
Roe died fighting with the Army, attached to the 12th Battalion Rifle Brigade in France.
