Edward Balfour Cloete ( – ) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Cloete was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 July, 1905.[1]
Cloete was appointed in command of the gunboat Tarantula on 7 May, 1920.[2]
He was appointed in command of the light cruiser Lowestoft in November, 1926.[3]
In November, 1929, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Carysfort.[4]
