Crawford Maclachlan
From The Dreadnought Project
Admiral Crawford Maclachlan, C.B., Retired (11 July, 1867 – 21 April, 1953) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Maclachlan's Commander in the Prince George, Sydney Fremantle, later described him as, "a hard-bitten little Scotsman, who was an accomplished seaman, most thorough in his methods, and had a quiet but forceful habit of command which inspired great confidence."[1]
