Commander (retired) Brudenell Hunt-Grubbe, R.N. (11 June, 1883 – 16 October, 1951) was an officer in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
In Andromeda, he was described by Captain Francis John Foley as "wanting in alertness."
Hunt-Grubbe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 September, 1904.
Hunt-Grubbe was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 September, 1912.
Hunt-Grubbe was appointed in command of the destroyer Panther on 10 September, 1914.[1]
Hunt-Grubbe was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 13 October, 1926.
He died of uraemia shortly following a simple prostatectomy.
