Admiral SIR Barry Edward Domvile, K.B.E., C.B., C.M.G., (5 September, 1878 – 13 August, 1971) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

In April 1916, apparently while yet a Commander, he was appointed in command of the light cruiser Carysfort.[1]

Domvile was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1916.

In July, he was made Captain of light cruiser Centaur.[2]

He was appointed command of the light cruiser Curacoa on 9 January, 1918.[3]

He was appointed command of the battleship Royal Sovereign in 1925.[4]
