Commander R.N.R. Archibald John Moss, R.D., R.N.R. (5 April, 1888 – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Moss was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 September, 1916.[1]

Moss was appointed in command of the second-class torpedo boat T.B. 079 on 6 April, 1918.[2] He remained in command until she paid off or reduced, probably before April, 1919. He was to be demobilized on 15 June 1919 but this was deferred until Wahine had been returned to her owners, which became 23 January, 1920.[3]

Moss was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander R.N.R. on 1 September, 1924.[4]

Moss was promoted to the rank of Commander R.N.R. on 31 December, 1931. He was placed on the Retired List on 14 March 1937.[5]
