Captain Allan Thomas George Cumberland Peachey, C.B.E., D.S.O., R.N. (23 May, 1896 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Peachey's father was a surgeon who died before he entered the navy as part of a special emergency term taken into the Training Establishment in September 1914.

Peachey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 March, 1919.

Peachey was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 March, 1927.

Peachey was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1933.

Peachey served as executive officer in the battleship Royal Oak until being superseded by Arthur Wellesley Clarke in July 1938.

Peachey was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1940.

He was placed on the Retired List on 7 January, 1950.
