Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. Alexander Lobban, ( – 2 September, 1926) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Lobban was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant R.N.R. on 1 April, 1916.[1]

On 18 September 1917 he was appointed to Eagle, additional, for command of an armed trawler.[2]

In 1918 he was appointed in command of a minesweeping trawler for duty under the Principal Minesweeping Officer, Malta. He was invalided in October, 1918 and sent to the Royal Naval Barracks, Portsmouth to mend. Instead, he was deemed to have arterio sclerosis and debility and scheduled to be demobilised on 20 June.[3]
