H.M.S. Regent was one of four Rainbow Class submarines completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Commissioned at Barrow on 20 September, 1930[2] for service with the First Submarine Flotilla in the Mediterranean extending to at least early 1933.[3] By mid-1937, she was part of the Fourth Submarine Flotilla on the China Station.[4]
