H.M.S. Verbena was one of thirty-six Arabis Class sweeping sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Verbena was re-commissioned on 24 May, 1924 at Simonstown for service on the Africa Station.[6]
Verbena paid off into Dockyard Control at Sheerness on 14 December, 1926.[7] She was re-commissioned on 28 October, 1927.[8]
She was re-commissioned at Simonstown on 25 April, 1930.[9]
