Fourth Cruiser Squadron (Royal Navy)
From The Dreadnought Project
Organisation
The Fourth Cruiser Squadron was counted as part of the First Fleet, despite being employed in the West Indies to protect British interests in Mexico. It was intended that it should be able to join the Commander-in-Chief for manœuvres, but it was in effect permanently detached.[1]
