H.M.S. Bideford was one of eight Shoreham Class sloops completed for the Royal Navy.
Service
Commissioned at Chatham on 15 November, 1932 for service in the Persian Gulf.[4]
Re-commissioned on 17 November 1936.[5]
Re-commissioned at Malta on 12 December, 1938 for service in the Persian Gulf.[6]
