Rear-Admiral (retired) George Northmore Arthur Pollard, R.N. ( – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

On 17 November 1865, the Board signified its high approval of his conduct in suppressing the Rebellion in Jamaica.

Pollard was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 29 December, 1871.

Pollard was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1885.

Pollard was promoted to the rank of Captain on 1 January, 1894.

Retired due to age on 17 March, 1902.

Pollard was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 26 June, 1905.
