Captain (retired) John Francis Stuart, R.N. (16 April, 1856 – 24 February, 1929) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Stuart was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 December, 1879.

Stuart was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1896.

Stuart was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 1 January, 1905 and promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 31 December, 1911.
