Shipbuilding
The No. 1 dock was extended to a length of 600 ft., a project forecast to be completed in April, 1910. However, the official completion was not until 31 August, 1911 when Lord Aberdeen would formally declare her open, when it as planned that she would immediately admit H.M.S. Invincible,[1] however, it was later decided that the Template:UK 1Achilles would be the first ship docked.[2]
