H.M.S. Ardent was one of eleven "A" Class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

Ardent was reduced to Reserve at Malta on 31 January, 1931.[1]

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 18 October, 1932 for service with the Third Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[2]

Re-commissioned at Chatham on 23 July, 1935 for service with the Third Destroyer Flotilla in the Mediterranean.[3]

Re-commissioned in reserve at Chatham on 16 June, 1937.[4]

Ardent was re-commissioned at Chatham on 20 April, 1938.[5]
