Admiral Sydney Stewart Hall, C.B., Royal Navy, Retired (16 June, 1872 – 10 January, 1955) was an officer of the Royal Navy.
Early Life & Career
He was confirmed in the rank of Sub-Lieutenant dated 14 August, 1891. He was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant with seniority of 14 August, 1892.[1]
Hall was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1907.[2]
Great War
Hall was appointed Commodore, First Class on 1 January, 1918.[3]
Post-War
Hall was promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral on 18 July, 1919, vice Cayley.[4] He was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 16 September.[5] He was advanced to the rank of Vice-Admiral on the Retired List on 1 January, 1925.[6]
