Commander Jacob John Hunker (1850 – 1 May, 1933) served in the United States Navy.
Life & Career
Jacob John Hunker was appointed to the U.S. Naval Academy from Ohio, officially entering the Navy on 27 July, 1866.[1]
Hunker was promoted to the rank of Ensign on 13 July, 1872.[2]
Hunker was promoted to the rank of Master on 14 January, 1875.[3]
Hunker was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 October, 1881.[4]
Hunker died in Pasadena, California on 1 May, 1933 at the age of 83.[5]
