Lieutenant-Commander Charles Caesar de Merindol Malan, R.N. (28 August, 1886 – 12 January, 1918) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Born in Howden, Yorks.

Malan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 October, 1908.

Malan was appointed in command of the destroyer Mallard on 3 February, 1914.[1]

Malan was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 1 October, 1916.

Malan was killed in the loss of H.M.S. Opal on 12 January, 1918.
