H.M.S. Canopus was a pre-dreadnought battleship of the Canopus Class in the Royal Navy completed in 1899.

Service

She paid off at Portsmouth on 24 April, 1903, preparatory to going to a private yard for refit.<ref>"Naval & Military Intelligence" (Official Appointments and Notices). The Times.
