Captain (retired) Edward Harrington Martin, C.M.G., R.N. (19 October, 1859 – 26 May, 1921) served in the Royal Navy and the Royal Canadian Navy.

Life & Career

Martin was born in Bangalore, Madras.[1]

Martin was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1883.[2]

Martin was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1897.[3]

Retired due to age on 19 October, 1909, Martin was allowed to accept an appointment in the Royal Canadian Navy on 28 July 1910 and was promoted to the rank of Captain (retired) on 31 December, 1912.[4]
