H.M.S. Vivien was one of twenty-five "V" class destroyers completed for the Royal Navy in 1917-18.

Service

Vivien was re-commissioned with a Reserve Crew on 15 November, 1922. By March 1925, she was running trials with Sperry Stabilising Gear.[5]

She was re-commissioned with Reserve Crew on 4 November, 1925.[6]

She was re-commissioned with Reserve Crew on 8 November, 1926.[7]

Re-commissioned at Devonport on 27 April, 1931 for work with the Sixth Destroyer Flotilla in the Atlantic Fleet.[8]

Vivien was re-commissioned in Reserve at The Nore on 23 July 1932.[9]
