Captain (retired) Edgar Robert Morant, D.S.O., R.N. (6 June, 1874 – 16 March, 1931) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Morant was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 1 April, 1896.

Morant was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1906.

Morant was granted the acting rank of Captain on 31 December, 1915.

Post-War

Morant was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Captain on 25 May, 1922.
