Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. James Trenance, D.S.C., R.N.R. ( – ) served in the Royal Naval Reserve.

Life & Career

Trenance was from North Brighton, Sussex.[1]

Trenance was promoted to the rank of Temporary Lieutenant R.N.R. on 26 January 1916. On the 31st, he was appointed in command of the paddle minesweeper Snowden. On 21 September 1916 he was appointed in command of the paddle minesweeper Goodwood.[2]

He was demobilised on 6 September 1919.[3]
