Commander Jasper Edmund Thomson Nicolls, (18 May, 1849 – 9 October, 1889) served in the Royal Navy.
Life & Career
Born in Dublin.
Nicolls was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 December, 1872.
Nicolls was promoted to the rank of Commander on 30 June, 1882.
Nicolls died of Yellow Fever in the Pacific, according to a telegram from Cormorant. The Admiralty assumed he was buried at sea two days after leaving Bahea.
