Commander John Graham Muriel McHardy, (28 October, 1878 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of Cdr. W. McHardy was born in Hamilton, N.B..[1]

McHardy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 15 September, 1900.[2]

McHardy was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 September, 1908. Among his last seagoing appointments, he was gunnery officer in the battlecruiser Inflexible from late 1908 to mid-1910.[3]

McHardy was placed on the Retired List at his own request on 12 March, 1912. While retired, he would fulfill a number of inspectional roles for the Navy.[4]

McHardy was promoted to the rank of Commander on the Retired List on 25 October, 1918.[5]
