H.M.S. L 22 was one of thirty-five "L" class submarines completed for the Royal Navy.

Service

L 22 completed to full complement on 3 April, 1925.[6]

From at least 1929 through at least mid-1931 she was with the Fifth Submarine Flotilla.[7][8]

Dates of appointment are provided when known.

There is an apparent conflict between Tweedy and Busbridge.
