H.M.S. Marksman was one of seven flotilla leaders of the Lightfoot class.
Service
In November, 1915, Marksman was the initial and sole leader for the newly formed Twelfth Destroyer Flotilla.[4].
In January, arrival of the Royalist as flotilla cruiser placed Marksman in a subordinate role.[5]
She fought as the flotilla's 2nd in command at the Battle of Jutland.[6]
Marksman paid off at Devonport on 25 November, 1919.[7]
