Commander (retired) Wyndham Forbes, (22 February, 1870 – 13 May, 1943) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Forbes was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 26 October, 1891.

Forbes was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 26 October, 1899.

Forbes was placed on the Retired List at his own request with the rank of Commander on 2 January, 1911.

Forbes was appointed in command of the yacht Jason II on 17 August, 1915. He was superseded in command on 1 January, 1918. In the last year of the war, he fulfilled some illegible role within the Auxiliary Patrol.
