Vice-Admiral (retired) William Usborne Moore, R.N. ( – 15 March, 1918) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Moore was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 23 April, 1872.

Appointed in command of Alacrity from 23 March, 1876 to 30 April, 1881.

Moore was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1884.

Moore was promoted to the rank of Captain on 30 June, 1892.

Moore was placed on the Retired List on account of age on 8 March, 1904 and promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 20 October, 1904.

Moore was promoted to the rank of Vice-Admiral (retired) on 12 October, 1908.
