General SIR William Thompson Adair, K.C.B. (21 June, 1850 – 29 December, 1931) was an officer of the Royal Marine Light Infantry.

Life & Career

On the occasion of the King's birthday Adair was appointed an Ordinary Member of the Second Class, or Knight Commander, in the Military Division of the Most Honourable Order of the Bath (K.C.B.) on 25 June, 1909.[1]

Adair was promoted to the rank of General on 22 February, 1912.[2]
