Commander (retired) William Ralph Leycester, R.N. (2 May, 1887 – 11 December, 1954) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career
Born in Cork.
Leycester was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 31 December, 1909.
Post-War
Leycester was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 31 December, 1919.
Leycester was placed on the Retired List at his own request with a gratuity on 28 May, 1920 and subsequently promoted to the rank of Commander (retired) on 2 May, 1927.
Leycester did not serve in World War II, as he reported he was suffering from severe abdominal pains in 1939.
