William Ogilvy Scrymgeour-Wedderburn

Captain (retired) THE HONOURABLE William Ogilvy Scrymgeour-Wedderburn, D.S.C., R.N. (22 November, 1894 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

The son of a Captain in the 17th Leicester Regiment who died in January, 1914.[1]

Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant dated 15 June, 1916 after adjustment.[2]

Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 15 June, 1924.[3]

Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was promoted to the rank of Commander on 31 December, 1930.[4]

World War II

Scrymgeour-Wedderburn was placed on the Retired List on account of age at the rank of Captain on 22 November, 1944.[5]
