Commander William Napier Kingdon, R.N., Retired (17 September, 1892 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Kingdon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 July, 1915.

Post-War

Kingdon was appointed to the Mersey-class trawler Richard Jewell on 28 February, 1920, to take command upon her commissioning. He returned to Tring as first officer on Richard Jewell paying off around May, 1920.

Kingdon was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 30 July, 1923.

Kingdon was promoted to the rank of Commander on 14 September, 1936.
