William Henry Newman

Lieutenant-Commander (retired) William Henry Newman, ( – 3 July, 1926) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Newman was promoted to the rank of Gunner on 29 November, 1884.

Newman was promoted to the rank of Chief Gunner on 19 June, 1903. He was pensioned on 9 December, 1905.

Newman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 24 March, 1915.

Reverted to pension on 8 April, 1919.

Newman was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander (retired) on 24 March, 1923.
