Vice-Admiral (retired) William Harvey Pigott, R.N. ( – 1 September, 1924) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Pigott was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 30 December, 1872.

Pigott was promoted to the rank of Commander on 11 July, 1882.

Appointed in command of Cruiser from 14 August, 1887 to 31 December, 1889.

Pigott was promoted to the rank of Captain on 31 December, 1889.

Pigott was placed on the Retired List on 8 March, 1903 and promoted to the rank of Rear-Admiral (retired) on 6 August, 1903 and to the rank of Vice-Admiral (retired) on 16 February, 1907.
