Vice-Admiral William Bowden Smith (28 March, 1874 – 17 March, 1962) was an officer in the Royal Navy.

His name may have been Bowden-Smith.

Life & Career

He was promoted to the rank of Captain on 1 January, 1913.

He was appointed command of the battleship Russell on 5 December, 1913.[1]

He was made captain of the armoured cruiser Carnarvon in August 1916.[2]
