Acting Captain William Balfour Macdonald, R.N., R.C.N. (19 June, 1870 – 1937) was an officer in the Royal Navy and the Royal Canadian Navy.
Life & Career
On 6 September, 1910, Macdonald was appointed in command of the old cruiser Niobe, as she was to be transferred into service with the Royal Canadian Navy.Template:RCNL1910-14 Macdonald was appointed in command of the first class protected cruiser Gibraltar in April, 1918.
