Lieutenant-Commander Walter Ambrose Ford, (11 March, 1893 – ) served in the Royal Navy.

Life & Career

Ford was granted the acting rank of Gunner on 28 June, 1917. He served in Blonde from March 1918 to March 1919.

Ford was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant on 28 September, 1919.

Ford was promoted to the rank of Lieutenant-Commander on 28 September, 1927.

On 13 January, 1930, a Court of Enquiry was convened in the accidental shooting of a Chinese soldier at Dan[illeg]. Ford was found guilty of a neglect of duty.

In April, 1931, Ford helped free captured Catholic priests.
